Long ago days on a Michigan farm will be brought to life once again as singers and musicians perform traditional holiday melodies. The savory scents of the season will fill the air as dinner is prepared in the warm farm kitchen, reviving memories of the folks who once occupied this historic farmstead. Visitors will also be welcomed into the log house by a family preparing Christmas Dinner. The Gift Shop and Vendors will offer items for sale to fill stockings and remind us of former lifestyles.

The annual Wine, Women, & Shopping event is returning for its 19th year, offering a weekend of retail therapy, exclusive events, and great wine in historic Chelsea, Michigan. Get the girls (or guys) together for a winederful weekend!

Our guest favorite event returns once again. Join us in this celebration of late 19th century farm life. Enjoy tours of the Farm Museum and Dewey School, live music, demonstrations of crafts, trades and traditional cooking methods. Vendors will be selling their wares and concessions and the gift shop will be open. See sheep shearing. Dewey School is open for this event.

Come enjoy a day on the farm and visit the demonstrators and vendors. The Petting Farm is home to about 200 traditional and non-traditional farm animals, including cows, horses, donkeys, llamas, alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, ducks, chickens, peacocks, and cats.

Michigan's Largest Sheep and Wool Festival. Come enjoy the animal shows, participate in a workshop, join in a competitions, and visit the vendors.

Come see the equipment that transformed American farming from horsepower to the modern era. Steam engines, oil burners, gasoline and diesel tractors, old trucks and farm equipment from the turn of the 19th century to the 1980s will be on the grounds. Tractor rides, displays and concessions. Tractor games on Sunday. There will be Demonstrators on the grounds along with all the great tractors and other machinery to experience. The 1850s ten room farm house will be open for tours for a small fee.

Visit the soldier's encampment and hear the cannons roar. Watch blacksmiths at their forges practicing metal arts. Visit the log house and learn how families cooked over a hearth and went about their daily lives. Tour the Victorian farmhouse and see all the treasures held in its many rooms. Listen to music, and perhaps take a moment to jam along with the artists. Watch the fiber artists and spinners. Make your own arrowhead or candle to take home as a memory of your adventure. Free family fun at A Day In The Village on the historic town square in Stockbridge MI. Friday is live music, food, games and fireworks in the park. Saturday is the annual 5k, vendors, games, live music and contests on the town square.

We are proud to join other historical venues as one of the many free area museums sponsored by Experience Jackson! Tour the farmhouse, school and outbuildings. Enjoy some concessions and free musical entertainment. Watch the blacksmith work in the shop. Make an arrowhead at the Flint knapping circle. Shop the Spinner's Flock fiber market. Pick up some new greenery at the community plant sale. Purchase unique items at the giftshop.

The Michigan International Alpaca Fest is the longest running alpaca show in the country. This year marks our 26th year. The show will feature regular classes, group classes, walking fleece, and youth performance. Various vendors will also be available for your wants and needs. Saturday 8am-5pm and Sunday 8am-2pm

This craft show will host approximately 100 crafters. Free parking and no charge to enter.
